Our Approach
Our approach was to seamlessly integrate the solar and battery system into the home's construction from the very beginning. During the build, we prewired all electrical subpanels and backup load panels, completed attic runs to eliminate unnecessary rooftop conduit, and concealed all battery system wiring within the walls before drywall installation. By coordinating closely with the builder throughout construction, we created a truly custom solar installation with minimal visible conduit, resulting in a clean, refined appearance that perfectly complements the estate's high-end craftsmanship and architectural design.
Challenges
One of the greatest challenges on this project was installing the two Franklin aPower 2 batteries, each weighing nearly 400 pounds, across an unfinished job site during the heavy rains of December. With open trenches throughout the property and unstable, muddy terrain underfoot, safely transporting and positioning the batteries required meticulous planning, teamwork, and precision. Despite the difficult conditions, the batteries were successfully mounted on the exterior of the home without compromising safety, workmanship, or the project's timeline—demonstrating the level of dedication and professionalism our team brings to every installation.
