Project Summary

The client hired our team to install a 30-panel ground-mount solar system strategically located in the center of their vineyard to maximize southern sun exposure. The system was paired with a FranklinWH battery backup, delivering full-property backup power and energy independence while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding landscape.

Our Approach

Our approach prioritized minimizing disruption to the vineyard while fully complying with local jurisdictional codes, setbacks, and permitting requirements. Underground electrical was trenched carefully between vine rows, and the ground-mount system was positioned in an area that required the fewest vines to be uprooted, preserving the integrity and productivity of the vineyard.

Challenges

Our biggest challenge was carefully installing the system while maneuvering heavy equipment without damaging the property’s beautiful grapevines.
